The range of the wireless radio transmission can be up to five meters, which results in fast processing and thus reduced waiting times, especially during parking processes and when used in public transport. The durability of the card is thus increased.

NFC or RFID?

Depending on the area of application, different application technologies are available. The basic difference between RFID and NFC is that NFC is a standardized specialization of RFID technology that was developed specifically for the secure exchange of data over short distances, e.g., for payment systems and credit cards.
